Emma (WOW) started kindergarten August 13th. She is loving it (I think she was ready at age 3). Her teachers name is Ms. Akers and is a cute southern gal from Georgia. Emma really likes her. Emma has made some new friends and can't wait to have play dates with them. She thinks the homework and classwork is rather boring, but loves doing the activities and crafts. She goes to school the same time Julia does, and Julia gets to walk her to her classroom in the mornings. They start school at 7:45 and end the day at 2:00. Yep, both of them. This is so nice for me (mom) because I can get more done during the day and more concentrated time with Olivia. The girls love the cafeteria food (very much like an authentic hawaiian bakery) and it is only 35 cents for breakfast and $1.50 for lunch (amazing, I don't know how they manage that). Here is a picture of Emma on her first day of kindergarten (she picked out her clothes the night before)...

Wow, what a big school girl now! You are going to teach all those other kids Emma. You already know all most everything that they are teaching, so I am sure your teacher will have you help her to show the other kids what they need to learn.
Grandma and I look forward to seeing you soon.
We love you bunches and bunches
