Here are some fun pictures of the girls at the beach. That seems to be our common theme here on the weekends. We go to the beach and frolic in the surf, snorkel, or surf with all the girls. Olivia has no fear of the water and loves body surfing. We will get some more pictures this upcoming weekend and post them of the girls surfing.

Aloha from Maui
Just wanted to update you on the Eiseman Family here on Maui.
We have been so blessed to have this opportunity to come enjoy this beautiful place. Brian is working for a kitesurfing company here on Maui called Cabrinha Kitesurfing, and the girls just started school here where we live.
Olivia and mommy are hanging out doing all the furniture buying and moving details. We are excited to see what new adventures God has in store for us.
We love and miss all our family and friends!!!
We Finally moved into a "real" house(instead of a short term rental). We have been furnishing our house with moving sales and garage sales- quite a new experience for Brian and I. The first night we slept on the floor and the girls slept on fold out futons. They loved it- thought it was a lot like camping. Brian and I, well you could say we woke up with some stiff backs. We have a lot of room for the kids to run around and lots of nice fruit trees, even avocado trees (3 of them). We are about 10 minutes from Julia and Emma's school and about 25 minutes from Kahului, where Brian works. Nice to have our own place.....

Emma's First Day of Kindergarten
Emma (WOW) started kindergarten August 13th. She is loving it (I think she was ready at age 3). Her teachers name is Ms. Akers and is a cute southern gal from Georgia. Emma really likes her. Emma has made some new friends and can't wait to have play dates with them. She thinks the homework and classwork is rather boring, but loves doing the activities and crafts. She goes to school the same time Julia does, and Julia gets to walk her to her classroom in the mornings. They start school at 7:45 and end the day at 2:00. Yep, both of them. This is so nice for me (mom) because I can get more done during the day and more concentrated time with Olivia. The girls love the cafeteria food (very much like an authentic hawaiian bakery) and it is only 35 cents for breakfast and $1.50 for lunch (amazing, I don't know how they manage that). Here is a picture of Emma on her first day of kindergarten (she picked out her clothes the night before)...

Julia's First Day of Third Grade
Julia entered the third grade and seems to be adjusting pretty well. She has a very nice, but structured teacher named Ms. Boone. The elementary school, a public school much like Main Street, is very structured and focused on education and helping children learn social boundaries (a little more like a private Catholic school, I think). They are not allowed to run in the hallways or talk loud, they can only swing on the swings facing the school, they go to the cafeteria as a class at a specific time for lunch, they are picked up at the curbside or by you personally only, etc... A little structure never hurts anybody. Should be an enlightening experience for the girls.
